TOPIC- GLYCAEMIC PATTERN OF PATIENTS ON KIDNEY REPLACEMENT THERAPY (HEMODIALYSIS) IN FIVE SELECTED SOUTH WEST STATES IN NIGERIA
General Aim
General Aim is to document medical challenges faced regularly by renal nurse in course of dialysis with stage 5 renal CKD who are dialysed by renal nurses in renal centres in Nigeria.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
1. Document medical challenges renal nurses meet during dialysis session across Nigeria and the interventions that are offered to overcome the challenges as it relates to patients and dialysis machine itself.
2. Determine if patient undergoing haemodialysis are at higher risk of hypoglycaemia than patient of same age and sex undergoing blood transfusion or major surgery of similar duration.
3. Determine glycaemic profile of patient undergoing haemodialysis
