Title: Diversity of polycycylic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) degrading fungi in soils from industrial sites in Northern Nigeria.
General Aim: To identify PAH-degrading fungi from soil samples using culture dependent and culture independent methods.
    Specific objectives:
    1. To enrich and isolate PAH-degrading fungi from soil samples using mineral salts medium.
    2. To identify the fungal isolates using their cultural morphilogies and microscopic features.
    3. To extract genomic DNA from the soil samples and amplify the 18S rRNA gene by Polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
    4. To amplify PAH-degrading genes in the isolates and the DNA samples using PCR.
    5. To determine the nucleotide sequence of the isolates and conduct phylogenetic studies on the 18S rRNA genes and PAH-degrading genes.

TOPIC- GLYCAEMIC PATTERN OF PATIENTS ON KIDNEY REPLACEMENT THERAPY (HEMODIALYSIS) IN FIVE SELECTED SOUTH WEST STATES IN NIGERIA
    General Aim
General Aim is to document medical challenges faced regularly by renal nurse in course of dialysis with stage 5 renal CKD who are dialysed by renal nurses in renal centres in Nigeria.
    SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
    1. Document medical challenges renal nurses meet during dialysis session across Nigeria and the interventions that are offered to overcome the challenges as it relates to patients and dialysis machine itself.
    2. Determine if patient undergoing haemodialysis are at higher risk of hypoglycaemia than patient of same age and sex undergoing blood transfusion or major surgery of similar duration.
    3. Determine glycaemic profile of patient undergoing haemodialysis
